I found myself with another wine from La Perdrix this week and a husband who wanted to grill steaks. Fortunately for me, the wine was a red and my husband is excellent at grilling steaks. I prepped some sweet potatoes and we were all set! This wine was a blend of 45% Grenache, 35% Syrah, and 20% Carignan. As I moved back to Spain this week, I was happily ready to try another Carignan. Knowing now that this was a wine I could pair with barbeque made me even happier! This week I pulled out the Mont Gravet Carignan from my Wine Awesomeness box. I wanted to try it first because the musical selection for this wine was, “You and I” by Ingrid Michaelson.
